I am writing this post to explain the process of porting from Airtel to BSNL. I will mention the complete process step-by-step which you can follow easily.

Porting from Airtel to BSNL

You have to follow the steps given below to port your mobile number from Airtel to BSNL:

Step 1: Open your SMS App on your phone.

Step 2: Send an SMS with text “PORT <10-digit Airtel Mobile Number>” to 1900. For example, if your Airtel Mobile Number is 1234567890, send an SMS with text “PORT 1234567890” to 1900.

Step 3: You will receive a message mentioning the Mobile Number Porting Code from Airtel.

Step 4: You have to visit the CSC or Authorized Retailer of BSNL and provide them the Mobile Number Porting Code along with your Proof of Identity and Proof of Address to process your Porting Request.

Step 5: After submitting the Mobile Number Porting Code, required Application Form and other documents, it will take around 3-10 days for activation of your new BSNL SIM.

The above simple steps will help you in porting your mobile number from Airtel to BSNL without any complications.
