It is possible that your employer might find your profile on Naukri.com when searching for new candidates. To prevent your employer from finding you on Naukri.com, the first thing you should do is to block your employer from accessing your profile on Naukri.com
In this post, I will share with you the complete process by which you can block your employer or any other company from accessing your profile on Naukri.com. You will become invisible to the companies blocked by you.
How to block your employer or any company from finding your profile in Naukri.com
You just have to follow the below steps and it would keep you safe from exposing yourself to your employers in the Naukri portal.

Go to the browser and open Naukri.com
Log in to your Naukri.com account using the correct username & password.
Move your mouse cursor on the “My Naukri” option in the top-right corner of the website and click on the “Settings” option from the given options.
On clicking the Settings, a new page will load having four options: 1. Communications and Privacy 2. Account 3. Job Preferences and 4. Block Companies
Click on the 4th option – Block Companies
After clicking on Block Companies, you will be able to search the companies which you want to block. Enter the name of the company to search and select the same to block the company.
Once you have searched the companies & selected it, you have to click on the “Save” button.
All the companies that you selected to block will be available to see in the Blocked Companies list on the same page.
You have successfully blocked the companies that you wanted to block.
How to hide your Naukri Profile
The best option to make yourself invisible on Naukri.com is to hide your Naukri profile. The major disadvantage of using this option is that you will be making yourself invisible to all the employers rather than blocking the few. You should use this option only if you don’t intend to receive any job-related calls or emails.
I am sharing this method for those people who are very keen to keep their profile confidential and are not looking for job as of now.

Go to the browser and open Naukri.com
Log in to your Naukri.com account using the correct username & password.
Move your mouse cursor on the “My Naukri” option in the top-right corner of the website and click on the “Settings” option from the given options.
On clicking the Settings, a new page will load having four options: 1. Communications and Privacy 2. Account 3. Job Preferences and 4. Block Companies
You have to select the 1st option “Communications and Privacy” which is already the loaded page by default.
Select any one of the two options – “Immediately looking for job” or “Not actively looking but open for opportunities”.
Click on the “Customize” button.
You will find the section “Communication from Recruiters” under which there will be a field “Job opportunities and messages from recruiters” with dropdown option. From the dropdown, select “No email”.
That’s it. Your profile is now hidden.
