When you purchase a new SIM Card of BSNL or any other telecom provider, it happens that you forget the mobile number allotted to you against the new SIM Card. Now, you start to wonder how to know your own mobile number when you forget the mobile number. I have written this post for BSNL customers who have lost or forgot their number due to some reason. I will guide you step-by-step on how to know your BSNL Mobile Number.

The normal way to find your own mobile number is to give a missed call to your near ones. But, this is a very basic method which will work only if you have balance in your BSNL mobile number. If you have zero balance in your BSNL mobile number, you will be forced to use the BSNL Number Check Code to find out your own mobile number.
How to check your BSNL Number with BSNL Number Check Code

If you have already activated & installed the BSNL SIM Card on your phone, you can move to step 2. For those who have not yet installed the BSNL SIM Card, insert the SIM Card in the SIM Slot of your phone to check the mobile number.
On receiving the network signal on your phone, dial *222# which is the BSNL Number Check Code.
You will receive a message instantly on your phone mentioning your mobile number.
Note down your mobile number and also save it in your Phone Contacts so you don’t miss it ever.
The other USSD Code for checking BSNL Numbers are :
*888#
*1#
*785#
*555#
You can try using the above codes if the Number Check Code *222# does not work.
